Moriarty explained that a specific photo often used as "proof" of surgery actually showed her with heavy makeup contouring. She recalled "feeling pretty" after the makeup application on what was an "immensely stressful day". She noted that "before" photos used by critics were often nearly a decade old, taken when she was around 22 and before she was of "legal drinking age". She revealed that her physical transformation was tied to a period of intense stress where she had "barely been able to eat and sleep," leading to her being "10 pounds thinner".
