shout out to yirdos fr very very situational punish but it far outclasses jump-in combo punishes in every way mainly due to Cl. 5HK. taunt link 2 Cl. 5HK's into sa3 is 60%

@TheoryFighter I've seen false positives a lot, but I've never actually seen someone use a turbo. I've seen 2 confirmed macro users in my life, cheating is not common

So if Fightcade can detect my opponent from using Turbo buttons, why not not just kick them from the game?

GGs everyone! Man, the heat of battle was exhilarating on this run. That intensity is something that I’m looking forward to more and more these days as my dread of competition and my excitement of competition continue to find a healthy equilibrium and perhaps amalgamate into something else entirely. My back was against the wall over and over. From struggling in my first set against the katsu-loving Hero to facing set point against the always wily Suiko Since 1996 to another fierce battle with rising threat Downrightlag to entering grands from losers side, this bracket wrung out every droplet of my composure and determination. It’s so rewarding to continue to develop those skills, and that doesn’t happen without great rivals to draw it out. I hope that I’m doing the same for my opponents/training partners 🙏 The highlight of the night (that I saw) had to be winners finals, Kurby vs me. It was an absolute war, with Kurby styling hard and putting on a show while taking a 2-0 lead. But I made some adjustments and never gave up, and the set came down to final round, final hit. In a crazy corner scramble, he air parried my shoryu (again 😭) to take it. I mashed coin out of respect for his epic win. A loss like that, when you know you’ve both given it your very all, can hella sting for sure, but there’s also beauty in it, and I was glad we delivered for the stream 🔥 After that, out of the shadows of my mind, Shin Poe emerged. I wish I could fully embody Shin Poe whenever I play, but perhaps that is not possible. I will say my relationship with him has grown far closer in recent months. I am beginning to understand him. Perhaps there’s one I’m forgetting, but I think this is the first time I’ve ever won a tournament from losers side. It’s often said that it’s very hard to do, and honestly, it doesn’t seem like, statistically, that it should be so rare. But I’ve played in a bunch of grand finals resets (aka Shin Grand Finals) at this point and, whether I had done the resetting or been reset, it had been the player who started in winners who won the tournament every single time that I can recall. I want to study that and put more thought into why that effect is so extreme. Thanks for the warm support in the chat - it really does make me feel good. It’s important for me to remember that I’m the same player I would have been if I’d lost early and often, which could have easily happened last night. I’m just gonna keep trying my best for everyone, to improve every day :) And thank you SeT team, especially Jimbo, for being an absolute pillar of our community ♥️ See you at @NGNNofficial this Saturday! @bananatreeboa @the_nipperman I'll accept any challenge sub-50ms, but further out and it's gotta be a friend or a really strong player. Gotta start playing online and hitting the lab again, my execution is slipping from being offline-only

@the_nipperman Anything over like 80ms has a decent chance of driving me insane w the right characters. I mostly stick to playing the people I enjoy and entering the occasional tournament.

@notcharlieslaw I would and have, because all she wants is Firefox and email. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who just wants to play competitive multiplayer games and has no interest in computers outside of that, because they will run into issues.

@EmericanAconomy @Nexuist You're paying a premium for the crazy low miles on that. There are many well-maintained examples in the 100-150k mile range with a lot of life left. That car isn't even broken in yet.

@EmericanAconomy @Nexuist Corollas suffer from inflated prices due to being perceived as *the* reliable used car. The Yaris is equally reliable and you can find them used for a lot cheaper.

Does anyone know of a good pokemon romhack that doesn't have the usual difficulty ramp? I'd love a new pokemon experience but the grind kills me

@piratevide0 @Arlieth I probably wouldn't have kept playing were it not for Exo accepting my D rank challenge twice in a night and giving me pointers. Really a much worse player could have helped me just as well, but having someone at the top give give you the time of day builds a sense of community.
