Louisa and Maren were tortured, raped, and murdered for a single “crime”: being white Europeans. The killers are currently serving 20-year sentences in a Moroccan prison. For these two innocent souls, there was barely any outrage, just a brief news story that quickly disappeared from the headlines. Their suffering was allowed to fade in silence, because they were killed by North Africans.
