On 3/18 at 8:18 PM, officers responded to a motorcycle crash in Forest Park. The motorcycle, driven by John M. Bishop (44) with passenger Jennifer M. Ray (47), struck a barricade and overturned. Both were transported to AdventHealth Ottawa; Bishop was later transferred to OPR. 🧵

So thankful for the efforts by all involved to honor the service and ultimate sacrifice of Deputy Smith. The bill passed the House and Senate with overwhelming support.
