I think the worst advice mid stakes pros give is on bankroll management. They are too conservative
Take shots, take a little more of yourself in a big spot tourney. Play a little bigger.
You won’t always be successful but you will be better the next time you shot take. You will be better in your normal stakes. Your body and your brain should learn from these experiences so you are more prepared for them the next time.
Being scared to fail means you are usually afraid to succeed
Obviously, you have to have discipline to stop at a point and have a fail back plan (fall back plan)
This doesn’t mean go all in on a tournament or nose bleeds, but take shots at climbing the ladder.

Surprised by the number of people who find it inconcievable that someone with $50m in tournament earnings over a long career doesn't have millions in the bank. It’s easy to confuse earnings with profit, make assumptions without full information or underestimate how much $ someone at that level is actually putting in. In today’s highroller scene, you can easily run eight figures in annual buy-ins with thin margins and huge variance. Also, being a great poker player doesn’t automatically make you a great investor or money manager.

I dont understand people that pile on others when they are down bad
Poker players making a lot of money and going broke is a story as old as time, hell I have very few friends that havent been broke multiple times
95% of the time it's life leaks and nothing to do with poker, slots, crypto, sports betting etc
You just get them on a payment plan and wish them luck
Not saying dylan didn't have the right to out dpetes, but it's good to have empathy
