I just found out that Catholic schools in Ireland legally aren't allowed to prioritise Catholics for entry into their schools...
But Protestant, Muslim and Jewish schools are allowed because they are minorities.
What's that about... why foster division like that?

The findings of the Springhill inquest are finally being released. Vindication for the innocent victims of this massacre. It’s worth noting that two who were killed: Fr Noel Fitzpatrick & Patrick Butler: a priest & his parishioner who were shot with the same bullet as they went to the aid of victims, enjoy a reputation for martyrdom & are venerated in their community. They are certainly models of pastoral heroism in the midst of violence & death.
