I was joking that TayNew was there in Kiss The Series to sell Oishi. It turns out from P'Tha today that it was partially true. 😭😂
P'Tha said that Oishi bought the "side story" sponsor package of Kiss The Series. P'Tha then gave the direction to the team that all side stories added to Kiss The Series should be given to PeteKao, adding some "cute Y moment" to it.
And—BOOM!—TayNew was born from there.

What i find so fascinating about the whole gmmtv pillars thing is that it's quite the double entendre.
