@FlavioVolpe1 Tone deaf stunt. It’s almost unCanadian asking immigrants or descendants to literally throw away a symbol of its proud history. Didn’t even dawn on them that likely most already purchased their Canada jersey when it was released. It’s not a Leaf jersey after a failed playoff run.

We get to host the World Cup & all of 🇨🇦 is excited. Be humble. We’ve not won a single game in WC history & we’ve scored 2 goals ever vs Italy’s 4 World Cups wins, second only to Brazil’s 5. Trolling an 🇮🇹🇨🇦 community that turns out for Team Canada games with pride is dumb.
