Shocking Upper West Side bagel news. Absolute Bagels is "closed for good," multiple employees said on Thursday. The storefront is already shuttered. Unclear the reasoning for the closure but it is not the health department. “There are many problems. The owner is old.”

@no_good_wyfe I think maybe small frequent assignments just feels much more like what they had in high school? I'm told that they even use Canvas in high school now these days. But yeah it's also my experience that many students get very anxious if a class is just based on two longer essays.

@WmGlennGray Orchestral music is what I miss most about Berlin! It's no Berliner Phil/Konzerthaus, but the NC Symphony comes to Chapel Hill a few times each year which is lovely, but the audience skews very old—I wish they would organize a better partnership with UNC to get more students in.
