@BirdddTootle contract with raiders becomes guaranteed at 4pm. So if he isn’t traded by 4pm he will end up staying with raiders. Trading him after will result in a dead money for them. Also teams must be over the cap by 4pm. So unless jags create enough space for Crosby by 4 it’s not possible
English

@HHHHHawg I got the feeling he was lying about his information. It’s just someone trying to gain spotlight and trying to stay irrelevant.

Sad! You’re gonna miss out on seeing tweets that will eventually get deleted.

@Willpa11 Delusional twitter GMs at it again lol. He was a mid to late first round pick. So therefore minimum a first is needed plus something else for this to even happen. BTJ is most likely staying in Jax
English

@BillsPowerliftr @MarvinParsells Yeah even in your dreams this trade wouldn’t happen 🤣
English

@MarvinParsells If I’m Beane, I offer them Coleman and Knox with a late pick next year and ask them to throw in a 2026 pick
English

@firstroundmock This player is a turnover machine especially when the game is on the line. Just seeing you have him 1 and Fernando last tells me why you are a “former scout”
English

College football is college football and the NFL is the NFL.
With that said —
Carson Beck has the best skillset and head on his shoulders of any quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Ceiling: Matthew Stafford
Floor: Tony Romo
What stood out on Beck’s 2025 game film?
• Field General
• Composed
• Leads the offense with a consistent rhythm and tempo
• Good pre-snap communication
• Killer instincts
• Has command of the pocket
• Fancy ball handling skills
• Comfortable in a clean or dirty pocket
• Can feel pressure
• Maintains downfield focus
• Athletic
• Mobile
• Can move and reset the pocket
• Can make multiple reads
• Can manipulate and move defenders with his body positioning and/or his eyes before he throws
• Above average at calibrating his body with the trajectory of his passes, even when he’s moved off his spot
• Fastest time to throw in this draft class 2.40 seconds (PFF)
• Strong arm
• Throws from different arm angles
• Above average throwing mechanics
• Back right foot throwing control
• Some improv
• Above average out of structure and making off-platform throws
• Can either zip or finesse passes
• Can layer passes at the intermediate route level (10-19 yards)
• Above average overall ball placement
• Spreads the ball around
• Short term memory with mistakes
• 45.7% deep pass completion percentage
• Decent ball security
• Above average at protecting his body as a runner
Beyond the film what’s the most impressive thing about Beck?
To me —
As a former NFL Scout —
It was how he was able to reinvent himself at the University of Miami.
There’s no doubt his level of play dropped off at Georgia during the 2024 season. That’s why I dropped him on my board from a 1st round grade on his 2023 game film firstroundmock.com/2024/05/carson… to a 2nd round grade on his 2024 game film firstroundmock.com/2025/01/former…
To me —
He seemed distracted on his 2024 film.
Then things went from bad to worse.
He suffered that catastrophic arm injury in the SEC Championship Game against Texas.
Beck then declared for the NFL Draft but quickly changed his mind and transferred to Miami like Cam Ward had done the year before.
There was a lot of noise and doubts that surrounded Beck.
A lot.
Even I had my questions about Beck after studying his 2024 film.
The No. 1 question I had was how would Beck respond to his new team in a new place and how would his team respond to him.
Don’t forget —
Beck also had to fight through rehabbing from that injury during his transition from Georgia to Miami.
How did Beck respond and how did his new team respond to him?
They got all the way to the National Championship Game.
I predicted Beck would pull it off youtube.com/live/QHanChcf_…
He came close.
Real close.
It was the first time the University of Miami had been in the National Championship Game since 1/3/03.
But of course all people want to do is talk about the interception he threw at the end.
Because that’s all people ever want to do with Beck —
They want to put him down and hold him down.
But guess what…
He’s proven he can overcome all that.
And that has my attention.
Beck has shown a level of resilience, perseverance and leadership that’s well beyond his years.
The only thing that’s more impressive than his 37-6 record as a college starter or the 11,725 yards and 88 touchdowns he’s thrown —is his comeback this season.
His comeback story at the University of Miami tells anyone everything they need to know.
His skillset tells me he’s a 1st round value in the 2026 NFL Draft: firstroundmock.com/2026/01/carson…
How quickly and successfully he acclimated to his new team in Miami is also a good NFL predictor.
And his comeback tells me he has what it takes from the neck up —
Fernando who?
I’ve evaluated 229 games of quarterbacks in the 2026 NFL Draft class.
And this is my conclusion:

@joepezz_ @JagsRippin @alknappy Brother please re do this list. Caleb Williams is not that high. Burrow hasn’t done much in 2 years and he’s 7? How can Trevor be 16 when he was a mvp finalist? Led this offense great this season going 13-4, 15-2 if defense doesn’t give up against Texans and bengals.
English

@JagsRippin @alknappy You a grown man why u talking like that. But I need to see it again from Trevor. Until Coen got hired he was pretty much a bust. If he repeats this success he’s easily in the top 10

@firstroundmock Yes you are correct but seriously just go watch the film. You’ll see majority of those drops were not Trevor’s fault. He also had a great season. So let’s not lead people to believe whatever agenda you’re putting out. Any QB can play better. 13-4 could’ve been 15-2 but defense.
English

@patelmagh Respectfully, I don’t automatically dismiss quarterbacks from “drops,” when they’re the ones throwing the ball and they are in control of the timing of their releases, velocity of their passes, and location of their passes.
English

I think Travis Hunter moving to full-time defense says more about Trevor Lawrence than it says about Travis Hunter.
I know my heart sank when I heard, “Jaguars,” and “Travis Hunter,” in the same sentence on draft night last year. My heart sank because Hunter had to go and play with Lawrence.
Receiver is a position where their success is completely tied to whoever the quarterback is.
My heart sank with Hunter going to the Jaguars, the same way it sunk when Rome Odunze went to the Bears and got stuck with Caleb Williams and when Josh Downs went to the Colts and got saddled down with Anthony Richardson early in his career.
It’s just tough for these star receivers when they draw quarterbacks who struggle with accuracy.
Lawrence barely had starting level accuracy during the regular season (just over the 60% completion percentage threshold).
* Lawrence had a 60.9% completion percentage in 2025.

FIRST ROUND MOCK@firstroundmock
English

@firstroundmock 45 drops by WR there’s your data now go reevaluate. Stop looking at numbers and watch the game. 13-4 team led by T law with 45 dropped passes. If he isn’t a good QB then who gets credit on the offensive side of the ball?
English

@patelmagh Respectfully, subjective voting doesn’t move me as an evaluator when there is other data available.
English

@firstroundmock Also he could’ve ended up on the browns if jags didn’t trade up for him. Does your heart explode in this scenario or just sinks?
English

@firstroundmock t law was a finalist for mvp so therefore all that crap you wrote about your heart sinking for Hunter is inaccurate. You don’t get to pick where players go.
English

@DeSantisville @SleeperNFL @JStCyrTV @SleeperJaguars He’s being humble and he knows he underperformed. At least he’s not like AJ Brown who’s a diva about getting the ball in his hands. Team communications cost eagles another Super Bowl run. Saquon carried them to the Super Bowl last season he still was upset about not having ball.
English

@SleeperNFL @JStCyrTV @SleeperJaguars If he’s not frustrated then he doesn’t care. Every single Jags fan was frustrated by his drops and his being afraid to go across the middle.
English

Brian Thomas Jr. on his performance this season:
"I wouldn't say it was frustrating. A little adversity gives you a lot to grow from. I wouldn't call it frustrating." 😬
Year 1:

Year 2:

@UHorse6733013 @AdamSchefter Person who cries about college ball. You don’t know shit buddy
English

@AdamSchefter Not winning your division until week 18 is embarrassing.
English

@ahumaseca @AdamSchefter You might just lose to a 42 year old qb. How can you be proud going to Pittsburg. Deep down you’re scared talking shit while we dominated this year and CJ stroud isn’t a qb that can win when it matters your defense just got exposed to colts lol. We are better than you
English

@AdamSchefter Wait 3rd??? As in 1 2 3 lmaooooooo holy poverty franchise hahahahahahhahaha
English

@HOFSteveTasker Goodluck buddy we on fire while your team has shit everywhere outside Josh Allen.
English

Looks like Jacksonville.
Two miserable losses to them in the playoffs.
Fix that JA17.
#BillsMafia
English

@ChristineSonnie @AdamSchefter @jag No one cares about your stupid opinion buddy. We didn’t run up the score this game we just run up the score every game. Go back and watch then talk
English

@AdamSchefter Bad example. There was zero need to run the score up, only for individual stats. A team that plays for individual stats is not a team I can ever support. Anyone but the @jag
English

@RealSkipBayless Yeah but Bo Nix won’t win when it Matters. Defense can only carry you so far. Skip bay less is skip brain less.
English

@loondawg23 @getnickwright Bitch we got this far so let’s see what happens. We on fire, you gotta be blind not to see that.
English

@getnickwright If you think they’re gonna win 12 straight and win Super Bowl. You’re crazy dawg
English

@DreamTeamApple1 @getnickwright Yeah that means bench CJ and let Mills start. Cj won’t win a game winning drive when it matters.
English

@getnickwright Nick, Jags are loaded. But Texans still have a chance to finish the season with 9 wins in a row and they were the last team to beat Jaguars. Outscoring them 26-0 in the 4th quarter. 23-17 lead at halftime. No Nico or Lassiter. I hope DeMeco doesn't pull more starters in 2nd half.
English

@jayhastings79 @getnickwright One game bitch he’s allowed to
Have a bad game like your favorite
Player and team. They 13-4 at home hosting bills. You don’t know shit worried about 2-3 months ago. Worry about now.
English

@getnickwright Had 4 interceptions and barely beat Arizona
Ummmm
