Thoughts from BMW - Man it’s difficult to describe the feeling of finishing 31. It’s not as painful as some of the moments I’ve had in my career when I’ve lost my card but it’s this dull disappointing knot in my heart. I really felt like I had the ability to get the job done and was going to get it done. -I checked the projections on 18 tee because I thought the bogey on 17 was going to knock me off but I saw I was in by less than a point. I hit a decent tee shot and realized walking to the fairway that if Viktor makes birdie, I’d have to match. He hit a really nice shot and I took dead aim from the fairway. I made a pretty nice swing but all day I was off on my numbers. I had a really difficult time judging the wind Sunday. It was swirling in different directions and magnitude. Viktor made his and I missed mine. -I know I had a great season and I’m really really proud of how I played Sunday. I made some great swings and putts. Tour championship would have been really nice but I know I have lots to build upon this season and keeps me hungry for next year. -I’m still going to play a decent bit in the fall, likely overseas so I’m very excited about that. -Caves Valley with the humidity and terrain was easily one of the most difficult courses to walk. Andrew Novak played it in 2.06 as a single which is amazing haha. -Scottie is inevitable.
