✨ Commercial Opensource Index ✨
I've been putting together a prototype to reference all OSS projects with commercial offerings (licenses, support, consulting, etc.). It's called OSSCitizen 👇

That was it for the @LF_Europe's Member Summit. Thanks everyone who came by our @ServoDev booth! See you tomorrow at the #OSSSummit, which also takes place in the beautiful city of #Bilbao. Stay tuned for more info!
@dearclarissa wait for real? … taiwanese do indeed love that dish, but I don't think they are aware this is actually a taiwanese invention… fascinating.
@BrendanEich@BraveSupport little morning frustration: in brave search, the "Summarizer" section shows up 2 seconds after page load, pushing all the results down as I'm about to click on the first result, making me miss my click. I've sent feedback, hope for a fix :)
@paulrouget2@BraveSupport@ParedesLJavi OH: “As of next week all of the interactive widgets will be server side rendered, even if the content they display comes later (like the summarizer). This will mainly benefit those far away from the US, [or] with questionable internet connections.”
Creating a company in Taiwan is such an infuriating process ~ 3 months of fighting with the administration and the banks for a simple software company (and still waiting!). In HK it takes 5 days. /cc @audreyt
Is there any services offering Windows/Mac/Linux VM, with remote desktop access?
- need the 3 systems in one service
- do not require to bring my own Windows license
@paulrouget2 Most of these are supported by cerbero: gitlab.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/cerb…
You can fork it and add the recipes that are missing, and you'll also need to edit the ffmpeg recipe to enable all those optional deps. We (gstreamer) build ffmpeg without any deps other than bzip2 and zlib.
I need to build ffmpeg for Windows/Linux/Mac-Intel/Mac-Arm. All statically, its dependencies included (that's the hard part).
I see some hackish shell scripts here and there, but is there a good tool to make the process easier?
I have entered the world of Switch owners. What games should I be purchasing either for me or my 9 year old? Casual stuff not too intense. Zelda looks a bit too much. Mario Odyssey maybe?
