Before stepping foot on campus to play for @HokiesBaseball, Preston Crowl dominated on the mound in the #AppyLeague! In 10 appearances for the @GoOtterbots in 2023, @pcrowl4 had a 0.82 ERA, 0.64 WHIP & a .143 batting average against.

Coming off a 25-appearance, 30-inning season, Preston Crowl (@pcrowl4) is in the mix for a starting role or, at least, an even larger workload in 2026. The @HokiesBaseball RHP has added a cutter, moved to a splitter and refined his slider shape to get up to 19 inches of break.
