@M5Stack any plans on making cad files available for the stamplc series? I would like to design some io modules that have got the same form factor (and a snap on module that needs the plug into the grove ports on the front)

@HeathRaftery @robin7331 I had some issues with the dxf imports. Svg / pdf never always seems to work fine. And since it is a one time buy and not a subscription it was worth it (for me)

@percramer @robin7331 Weirdly, DXF is in the free version. SVG and PDF are not.

Can someone recommend a vinyl cutter? I‘m looking at the Cameo 4 right now.

@robin7331 You have got kids don’t you? My machine is used about 300 days per year to print and cut stickers for them 😜 Business wise I use it for printing vinyl for enclosure front plates and also cutting stencils for powder coating etc

@percramer That seems fair! Yet its too much for me. Will not need this very often. Don‘t even know where I would put that large machine the 360 days per year where I don‘t need it 😅

@percramer A bit more? This thing is like 4000€ 😅 But yes, its cool! But too much for me.

@robin7331 We have got the larger silhouette at home. Mainly because more professional types of vinyl can be bought in half the standard width (and thus fits this one). It makes a bit more noise then the cricut ones though!

@open_erv I have been paying the same price for the past 4 to 5 years, never had an increase yet. And like I said, I have only been getting more features instead of loosing some

@percramer Both. The cost to performance ratio goes down, the prices of the paid version have gone way up.

I use fusion 360, but I am *always* worried my hard work, including learning to use it, will go up in smoke. They are constantly raising prices and taking away important features. They have gone back on promises. The world needs open source CAD, like firefox is for browsers.

@mtoconnor3 @BenKrasnow But the issue was found and solved. That should be the most important lesson from the situation (my opinion ofcourse). It also happens to the new Prusa… and that is not even cloud connected.

The Bambu X1C is a really good 3D printer: 0.2mm nozzle, except for the righthand Benchy at 0.4mm. I tested the nozzle up to 10mm^3/sec, and so it is usable up to the printer's max linear speed of 500mm/s. These prints were done around 300mm/s
