Just finished @perrychafe novel, Closer By Sea. Went in thinking I’d get a fun mystery and instead got a beautiful novel on grief, environmental issues, changing tides of life, and lessons on judgement. Highly recommend.

@perrychafe I enjoyed reading your book. Throughout it I had a sense of deja vu, as if I had seen some of the things you described. After discovering your connection to Petty Harbour it hit me. We spent time there in 2001, hiking and exploring. Loved it! My favourite province in Canada!
