Indeed. This isn’t acceptable @SkyNews given the importance of clear public messages. The UK isn’t lifting all Covid restrictions tomorrow - England is. Restrictions on eg size of gatherings, distance, face masks will remain in place in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for now, as we ease up gradually.

Today the UK government must tell Mr Barnier again we will become an independent country making our own laws, controlling our own fish and no longer under the European Court. Why can’t the EU keep its word that our future relationship will centre on free trade?

The UK runs a large balance of trade deficit with the EU so a free trade agreement helps them more than us. Good of the UK to keep to the promise of a relationship based on a free trade deal. No need to make any compromises on laws, fish or ECJ powers. We want to be independent.

The UK has become the first country in Europe to exceed 50,000 Covid-19 deaths. 595 people were recorded as having died with the virus yesterday, taking the total to 50,365.

After centuries of conflict and death Europe is at peace and working together to improve the lives of all Europeans. There are those who would break Europe up again, to take it back to the old days of closed borders and closed minds. Brexit must be reversed!
