Is VAT on fuel products reduced from 16% to 13% or 16% to 8%? . Do we expect further refuction then st the pump?

I am pretty sure the President meant 13.0% when he spoke about "reducing the VAT rate to 8.0% for the next 3 months" here. Sec6(1) of the VAT Act cannot even allow a reduction to 8.0% in the first place, the cap is a 25.0% variation by the CS & 8.0% would be way off that window.

@NahashonKimemia Don't panic they usually take you to city Hall and dand that you pay, once you pay they let you go. If you don't they take you to county courts. Just make sure you have mpesa on you to pay. Better if you can get someone to come run around. Otherwise si noma

Effects of learning history which CBC doesn't teach. It seems Iran knows all the people who resisted imperialism throughout history. Kenya can't be bothered with that, that's why we don't teach it.

Some pple don’t appreciate implications of awarding Ruto fraudulent PhD. Its devalued our education credentials. All Kenyan PhDs will be suspect. They’ve plundered, debased public morality, they now debase education. Who cursed us? Must be the spirits of Kiambaa church victims.
