Want to say a big thank you to the guy who helped me after the Coventry Sphinx game Tues. Walked to the car, tripped on the kerb & face planted the pavement! He helped get me up. Night spent in A&E but nothing broken! Home today!Just bruises , cut face & lack of sleep!.X #AFCRD
I’m very happy to announce that I’m joining Radio-Canada as a beat reporter to cover the Canadiens. So things won’t be entirely different. Times are tough in the industry, so I feel especially fortunate to continue working on my craft in a place that still values good journalism.
The amount of support we got via text + tweets was INSANE this morning…never thought we’d get that much love and encouragement…most loyal & best audience ever! Thank you!

@BWildeMTL@MitchyGallo@seanrcampbell Throw in the possibility of PLD and I had wondered the same as you. Kind of nice having these discussions about centres after it being a Bermuda Triangle for so many years.
@MitchyGallo@seanrcampbell Alright considering no one is gonna listen, I’ll have to defend it here.
Have you heard of Will Smith the hockey player. He’s averaging 2 PPG in USDP - those are Jack Hughes numbers.
Kirby Dach is a more natural C - possession monster.
Those are the 2 C. Suzuki is top-6 at W.
Hot Topic!
@BWildeMTL tells the TSN 690 morning show that Dach will be a better center than Suzuki, and Suzuki will eventually be moved to the wing.
What do you think?

Folks, Tim St*tzle is getting more tweets than Cole Caufield for the #NHLAllStarVote
Y'all know that's unacceptable. Every retweet of this tweet gets Cole a vote.
Get to work!

@titocurtis So we trade a tax refund for a lower life expectancy. How many ailments will not be caught early enough to make a difference. Maybe that $400 could go towards funeral costs.
@MarkHertling Got your Falaise reference as my father was in a Canadian regiment that saw action in this battle. Thanks for the analysis you give us on the present conflict.
I believe I suggested it would be a mini-Falaise (WWII reference) with likely 10-25,000 Russian forces trapped west of the Dniepro. Only the Russians couldn’t see it coming.
@BWildeMTL@KeithMcCullough Just an average working guy who realized I didn’t have the resources to be irresponsible. Key is keeping greed at bay. Balance risk and return. “If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs”
@BWildeMTL@KeithMcCullough You’re absolutely right Brian. My stomach stayed calm during the previous market corrections and was happy with my return. Tended to view macro trends in making decisions. Looking at the multi year(decade )stagnation of the Japanese market is good to keep in the back of mind.
@KeithMcCullough Many of your followers would rather lose money than learn.
So difficult for so many people in the world to realize that they can need to keep learning.
@BWildeMTL@KeithMcCullough Brian it’s hard to convince people who only experienced markets going up. Having been through 2000 and 2008, I know differently. At an age where I limit my risk as I have a smaller time frame to recover from any dips.
@MitchyGallo Mitch, I understand where you were going. If you build around the goaltender, you are going to spend a lot of time in your own end. Need a competent goalie or 2 and spend more of your cap in other areas.
I really don’t understand why a simple statement like don’t build around a goaltender it’s the last piece you need, is always taken as you don’t need good goaltending to win.
@lori10habs@robertlouis33@BWildeMTL You’re right Lori. Think the fan base only focuses on our team and not on the better teams we have to face. Expect a 4 to 5 year rebuild to get the talent that’s needed to compete.
@robertlouis33@BWildeMTL The one thing that has become clear to me is that there is a shocking number of fans who have no idea what’s happening with the Habs.
Block out all the noise. The main takeaway from today is this:
Habs fans should be at their most confident state yet that the guys we currently have in charge will give us our best chance in ages to FINALLY become consistently relevant on the ice. 🙏❤️
