In the late 1990s, the New England Patriots were nearly the Hartford Patriots. Connecticut offered a massive $1 billion stadium deal. The plan collapsed months later, and the Patriots instead built a new stadium in Foxborough. si.com/nfl/2017/01/23…

Exactly. We’ve built a culture where people wake up looking for something to be outraged about just to turn it into a headline or hot take. Then we get 15 podcasts breaking down a joke like it’s a federal case, acting like they’ve never made a mistake or heard sarcasm. It’s a cycle: outrage > content > more outrage. And then we wonder why athletes and coaches don’t want to do interviews. Maybe because the internet has a problem with everything everyone says and then wants to yell at them and call for their head?

Garrett Crochet is one of my favorite players in all of Major League Baseball. Still wish he opted to take part in the World Baseball Classic. Very disappointed in that decision.

Judging the tweets about CBS/Turner’s March Madness coverage, I think I am fortunate that I have not watched a studio show of any kind since the Bush administration.

@pfscribe I don't remember much of anything football online from this era (1993) but a few years later the pixelated RealPlayer videos started coming online and I watched them ALL 😆
