“Kids are resilient” is one of the most B.S lines to come out of the pandemic. If kids are so resilient, why do we have a generation of adults still talking about childhood trauma? Kids are vulnerable. Their mental health is just the easiest to ignore.

@Yrrepmot If they admitted to themselves what they were unknowingly doing to people, their entire worldview would flip. Most people aren’t willing to do that. Sorry you’ve harmed ❤️

The psychiatrist (who I have never even met) is now saying the damage and withdrawal I am experiencing from Sertraline is “perceived” and they are “not convinced that the observed affect is from discontinuation of Sertraline”… 😒 This drug has taken everything from me and they won’t even acknowledge the harm it has caused. I never consented to this kind of risk and now they’re gaslighting me. Also, note how they try and blame my ARVs instead for all the symptoms associated with SSRIs. Since when were psychiatrists experts on HIV medication? My HIV Dr has never mentioned any of these symptoms could be caused by Truvada or Raltegravir. And it’s not commonly reported by pwHIV. What an absolute joke. #medicalgaslighting #PSSD #Sertraline #brainInjury #HIV

Antidepressants often induce emotional blunting — a lack of feeling for both happiness and sadness. This phenomenon has far-reaching implications. How might this reduced emotional range affect an individual's capacity for social bonding and, consequently, the development of gender and sexual identity?

I interviewed a young woman last week. She was put on ADHD medication. At 7 years old... She faced a decade long battle with drug dependency. Each pill causing symptoms; reframed as new "disorders." This happens to millions of kids. It's time to stop Generation Medication.

Does the mental health industry really believe that kids are "disordered" for feeling depressed when sedentary, screen addicted, & socially isolated? Is that how disconnected these people are from community? And humanity? And reality? They're the ones who need an evaluation.

ADHD diagnosis process: - Teacher fills out 5-minute checklist - Psychiatrist talks to kid for 15 minutes - Prescription for amphetamines No blood test. No brain scan. No objective measure. This is how we "diagnose" 7 million children.

Parents: A harsh truth... Schools aren't preparing your child for the future. They're built for a world that no longer exists. From mental and physical health, to life skills, the responsibility is yours. Like it was for 99% of human history.

Parent: What's the #1 thing to support my child's mental health? Me: Avoid putting them in a school that calls their desire to move "ADHD." And pressures you to put them on amphetamines... When in doubt, avoid getting your kid hooked on speed.

The average parent relies on health professionals who are unhealthy to care for the health of their kids. The overweight physician. The sedentary therapist. The sport coach with anger management issues. The extraordinary parent sees their child's health mentor in the mirror.

5 Skills Every Parent Must Teach Their Kids: 1.) How to breathe to manage stress and anxiety. 2.) How to improve sleep quality. 3.) How to cook a nutritious meal. 4.) How to design an exercise program. 5.) How to maintain brain health in the digital age.

Parents ask us every day: How do I support my child's mental health? By modeling health. By learning to sleep, breathe, eat, move, and manage your emotions like an adult. The youth mental health crisis ends when the accountability revolution begins.

Parents ask us every day: How do I support my child's mental health? Not everyone likes our answer, but here it is. By modeling health. By learning to sleep, breathe, eat, move, and manage your emotions like an adult. Kids deserve skills, before pills.

We're looking for health and fitness professionals to work hard at helping kids get healthy. How hard? As hard as the pharmaceutical industry works to get them hooked on drugs.

I saw a post in our neighborhood forum. "My 11 year old is nervous about flying. Does anyone have any medications they would recommend." 1.) Breathing for self-regulation. 2.) Teaching risk analysis. 3.) Being a calm, cool adult for co-regulation. Before pills, try skills.

Millions of parents would rather drug their kids than raise them. This page isn't for them. It's for parents who believe their kids deserve skills, before pills. It's for health professionals who want to support those parents. For every drug pusher we need 10 health mentors.

Millions of kids are labeled with "disorders" for feeling anxious and depressed while sedentary and screen addicted. How are they supposed to feel, exactly? This is a real question for anyone who drugs kids without a health assessment. Why should illness feel good?

"I'm being pressured by my child's school to have them diagnosed with ADHD and autism." We get these notes daily. Parents: Don't let schools take away the one thing your child needs in today's economy. Their individuality. Not conforming to institutions isn't a disorder.

When smart people disagree on basic moral issues, it's not because they have different opinions. They have different "facts." Facts warped by algorithms until everyone is certain their side is right. If kids are anxious, it's because adults are purposely divided.
