Yesterday our 7th graders headed to the Ruth Sokolof Theater in downtown Omaha! After reading The Outsiders, students got to see the film on the big screen—such a great way to bring literature to life. Thank you for hosting us!

Mrs. Clayton’s HAL students attended a Bones and Clues workshop, where 19 students learned how scientists analyze bones to solve mysteries! They worked through case files and explored how skeletons change with age and differ between males and females.

8th grade ELA in action! Mrs. Gray’s class explored The Tell-Tale Heart using the Telephone Game to see how details change and why reliability matters. Engaging, creative learning at Platteview Central!
