We wrapped up the @GoogleStartups Founders Academy today and I’m completely awestruck by the amount of progress all the companies have made over the last 6 months. Closed deals, new partnerships, new hires, millions of dollars raised…simply incredible. Congratulations everyone!

Over a decade ago, Khosla, KP and others made a big push into "cleantech." Lots of deep tech investing that didn't pan out. It scared a decades worth of VCs from going down this path. Will this time be different? I hope so, because we need it.
