@MJonTheBrain @JuliaBerkowitz1 Let them keep doing this, it's going to have the totally opposite effect from what they're intending.
The more they expose themselves, the more people will see they're full of it; exposing the media's tactics, and the Cascios as frauds.

They really can't act- oh my goodness 🪦 Don't these producers realize how ridiculous it looks having them all pretend to be traumatized while watching a video of themselves laughing and pillow fighting MJ? I actually don't see this even getting a good reception from the general public, they come across more schemey and 'something off' than W&J.
p.s Aldo should have taken his $4.8 million blackmail cut and paid for some lessons on how to push actual tears out ☠️

@2BadAboutIt7 I got jumpscared by this on my last doomscroll too 🤣 didn't realise it was really her

@tajjackson3 Reliable rule of thumb: whatever IGN's rating is, the opposite is usually the truth.
English

@MJonTheBrain @pmfulton23 @MJ_fans_unite They even banned the use of my name on the forum. Instead of “Damien Shields” it would come up as ****** ******* if you tried to reference my name in a post 😭🤣

@MJonTheBrain @MJ_fans_unite It's insane! I remember the first time hearing Breaking News, not until years later. I thought it was kind of cool, but like you I knew there was something off about the voice.
How things even got that far is still a mystery to me, despite the incredible @FakingMJpodcast
English

@pmfulton23 @MJ_fans_unite I remember some fansites were even banning members who doubted the authenticity, a very strange time indeed. I knew from the first word sung that it was Jason.

@MikeSalazar777 @business @ReelTalker @opinion The people have spoken. And the people have chosen Michael.

@business @ReelTalker @opinion And audience should be allowed to tell critics and journalists who have made a career bashing Jackson to fuck off.
So fuck off.
English

Critics should be allowed to point out the ways “Michael” falls short without being admonished, writes @ReelTalker (via @opinion) bloomberg.com/opinion/articl…

@ChrisLacy0215 Definitely agree on three, EXCEPT the 90s...
I'd swap SIM for Heal The World.
I believe it encompasses everything about him musically, philosophically, and simply as a human being.
The same CAN be said for SIM, but I think you have to consider how proud HE was of that song.

Whole theatre laughed at this part 😭
zee@millsdaya
The camera cutting to j*seph when it said chimps are sensitive to certain people. Catch it !

The FIRE in his eyes... THAT'S MIKE.
Jaafar can't be given enough credit for his work, especially given this 'Bad' performance was the first thing he did. Just amazing.

@SunshineMJ5 Exactly. He wanted to go deep, and in fact he had. The reshoot/clause stuff-up isn't his fault. He excels with grounded drama, particularly from a Black perspective. He has to finish this story.
Any issues with the final cut fall on the producers, really. Beyond his control.
English

Nah, keep Fuqua. His vision is what we needed. Things got in the way of the movie that he really wanted us all to see, not his fault.
tabloid junkie 🌊@theplacehotelly
Highkey hoping Fuqua is too busy for Michael part 2 and Spike Lee takes the mantle. He deserves the big budget and he’s brilliant.

This is probably a REALLY hot take... Blood On The Dance Floor
Sabrine@whoisitbad
which is mj’s best title track in y’alls opinion? 🤔

@CaseyRain @murphdogg29 If anything, there's "admirable" restraint on Branca's part for not forcing them to make the ATV/Beatles catalog purchase a part of the movie. That's his crowning achievement, which he'll take any chance to gloat about. Whether it was filmed or not, it's not even in the movie!
English

He was, but I disagree that it was a "weirdly large role". Branca *was* key in orchestrating Michael breaking away from the family unit, and he has like 5 minutes of screen time between hiring him, the "no interviews or PR" scene and him showing up at the hospital. The latter was the only one that didn't feel wholly necessary to me, the first two scenes were fine. He's there in the Yetnikoff scene too, but pretty much all the dialogue there is Walter and Mike.
English

Branca was in total "white savior" trope mode in Michael...lol.
Josh Billinson@jbillinson
Michael Jackson’s lawyer has a weirdly large role in MICHAEL for no apparent reason, maybe other than the fact that he is a co-executor of the estate and a producer on the movie and cast Miles Teller to play himself … Ok, buddy. Sure.

@MJ_fans_unite 💯 They have nothing but hate in their hearts.

@pmfulton23 @RottenTomatoes just because you read it in a magazine or see it on the tv screen doesn't make it factual!
