PFA units are responding to two small fires in the 4900 block of Hilltop Dr. west of Inlet Bay. No structures are threatened at this time and some units were released after the initial review of the fire. More information to come.

Poudre Fire Authority (PFA) and Larimer County Sheriff’s Office are responding to a second alarm wildfire in the 400 block of N. Highway 287. Smoke is visible in the area and limiting visibility on the highway. Please find alternative routes if heading north out of Fort Collins.

The crew donned the proper protective gear, including breathing apparatus, entered the building and turned off the source. The building was ventilated and New Belgium staff is working to fix the issue. No one needed medical assessment and no injuries were reported.

The Engine 10 and Hazmat Crews are at New Belgium at 500 Linden St. after helping mitigate an ammonia leak at the facility. Their alarms notified employees and the entire facility was evacuated out of caution.

Firefighters conducted a primary and secondary search of the home. No one was inside at the time. One deceased cat has been found underneath and no other injuries have been reported.

Crews saw flames coming through the roof when they arrived. They assessed the scene while other firefighters began an attack on the flames. Multiple hoses were used since the fire was active underneath, inside, and on the roof of the home.

Firefighters ventilated the building and allowed people back inside. There are no injuries reported and no one was displaced by the fire. A PFA fire investigator is on scene and an investigation is in progress.

Firefighters located the source of the fire in a garden level unit. The fire was small and contained to a table but it created enough smoke to fill the hallways of all three levels.

PFA evacuated 20 units in an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Robertson St. (at the intersection of Elizabeth St. and Lemay Ave.) in Fort Collins today. Firefighters were dispatched at 10:15 a.m. after multiple callers and residents reported smoke throughout the building.

Firefighters are ventilating offices on the second floor and people are being allowed back inside. The haze was caused by an issue with an HVAC unit on the roof of the building. There was no active fire. Crews are beginning to leave the scene.

Poudre Fire Authority crews are investigating haze/smoke on the second and third floors of a commercial building in the 3500 block of John F Kennedy Parkway. Around two dozen people were evacuated from the building. More info to come.
