Yes, the Miami Dolphins got a 1st and a 3rd for Jaylen Waddle. At the surface, it seems like a good value, but then the reality that the 2026 NFL Draft is a C- draft hits. That first rounder acquired from the Broncos, pick #30, is a glorified 2nd round pick. The 3rd rounder acquired in the trade is a glorified 4th round pick. Using last year's draft as an example, Maxwell Hairston (CB, Kentucky) was the 30th pick of the draft and the 130th pick was Malachi Moore (S, Alabama). Is that good value for Waddle? Waddle was a young player in the prime of his career under a fairly team friendly deal. Thank you, @D1_JW!
