250M+ views in finance and tech content taught me this:
the edit is maybe 30% of the result
the other 70%:
-> hook in first 1-2 seconds
-> topic selection (what actually gets searched/shared)
-> pacing that matches platform algorithm
-> retention patterns specific to the niche
a beautiful edit on a bad topic gets 10k views
an average edit on a perfect topic gets 1M views
most editors optimize the wrong 30%

Most People Do This Wrong When Hiring freelancers❗️
When hiring (for example) a new video editor, most people post one job listing, wait for responses, and pick one.
This limits your options and makes it harder to find that gem freelancer.
How to do it right?
Create 3 different job posts — with different titles, text, and price ranges — and post them 3 times a day (morning, midday, evening) for at least 4 days.
Extra tip to attract more freelancers:
Don’t list a fixed price of $30 if that’s what you want to pay per video.
Instead, list a slightly higher price — say $40 — and write it as a monthly total (e.g., 31 videos x $40 = $1,240 fixed price).
This will attract far more — and better — freelancers than a flat $40/video offer.
“But won’t I end up paying $10 more than I planned?”
Negotiate, negotiate, negotiate.
