vtubing hot take but not every collab you’re invited to needs to be streamed. if you’re invited to a birthday or anniversary stream, while having another pov might be cool, i think it’s just as (or even more!) important to be fully present. everyone is so focused on turning every event into a growth or networking opportunity. but, you could also just have fun with and celebrate your friends? that’s s-tier content right there. instead of breaking up the flow by welcoming raiders in or thanking subs and new follows, focus on being fully in the moment and having fun with your friends!

we gotta stop telling vtubers that they need to act a certain way to become successful. it’s better to create content for the type of audience you want to attract if u want a sustainable career/hobby. appealing to fan service not only feeds into parasocial relationships but also isn’t always a sure way to success. there are so many successful vtubers that have gotten popular because they’re funny, enjoyable to watch, and pure of heart
