The ‘Granth Kutir’ is an excellent initiative of Mahamahim Rashtrapati Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji to preserve and promote the 11 classical languages of India in Rashtrapati Bhawan. Yesterday, during my visit I proudly witnessed Assam's Sanchipat manuscripts and over 500 Assamese books adorning this special library. Through the Granth Kutir, Assamese language's glorious history along with the 10 other classical languages of India is being promoted to guests from across the nation and the world.

Even though there was no other option for an 80-year-old Lakshman Sen but to temporarily relocate, his successors kept ruling various parts of Bengal for many more decades.
