💭 Why does this matter? Recognizing how many hate crimes stem from religious prejudice highlights the need for education, interfaith respect, and stronger support for faith communities.

Religion is the second most common motivation for hate crimes in Canada. For every 10 hate crimes, nearly 3 were targeted at people because of their religious background.
