“เรื่องวิทยาศาสตร์การแพทย์ตอนนี้เราไม่แพ้ใครในโลก แต่ประเทศไทยยังไม่มีภาพจำด้านนี้ คำถามคือเราจะสร้าง Branding อย่างไรเพื่อสื่อสารว่า Medical ไทยมีดี” . บทสรุปจากเวที THE STANDARD ECONOMIC FORUM 2024: Young Leaders Dialogue หัวข้อ ‘The Next Gen Medical Tech การแพทย์ยุคใหม่ จากวิทยาศาสตร์สู่นวัตกรรมสุขภาพ’ . ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนโดย ดร.ปัณณ์ อักษรวรวัฒน์ อาจารย์คณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล, ดร.ธีรญา กฤษฎาพงษ์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท สเปเชี่ยลตี้ เนเชอรัล โปรดักส์ จำกัด (มหาชน)​ และ รศ. ภญ. ดร.สุพรรณิการ์ ถวิลหวัง ผู้ร่วมก่อตั้งและประธานเจ้าหน้าที่วิทยาศาสตร์ บริษัท เซลล์มีดี จำกัด และอาจารย์ประจำคณะเภสัชศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ดำเนินการพูดคุยโดย นพ.ชัชพล เกียรติขจรธาดา และ ภัทรสุดา บุญญศรี . ความท้าทายของ Medical Tech ในไทย - ประเทศไทยยังมี Infrastructure และ Ecosystem ที่ไม่สามารถสนับสนุนและพัฒนานักวิจัยหรือนักลงทุนได้มากพอ ทั้งที่เรามี Biodiversity ที่ดีมาก - Tech, Commercialized และ Spokesperson เป็นปัจจัยที่สำคัญของการขับเคลื่อน Medical Tech ประเทศไทย โจทย์สำคัญคือจะประสานความร่วมมือ (Integrate) ทั้ง 3 ส่วนนี้อย่างไรให้เกิดขึ้นจริง - ในแง่ Branding หรือภาพลักษณ์ของประเทศไทย เรายังขาดการสื่อสารที่ชัดเจนในระดับสากล เพื่อให้โลกรู้ว่าเรามีดีด้าน Medical Tech - คนไทยส่วนหนึ่งยังมี Mindset ว่าเรื่องยากๆ แบบนี้ ‘คนไทยทำไม่ได้หรอก’ ทั้งที่บุคลากรของเรามีทั้งศักยภาพและองค์ความรู้สูง - คนเรียนสายวิทย์รุ่นใหม่มอง ไม่ให้ Career Path ในสายวิทยาศาสตร์ เรียนจบปริญญาเอกมาแต่นึกภาพได้แค่เป็นอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัย . ทางออกและข้อเสนอแนะ - Biodiversity ในประเทศไทยโดดเด่นมาก เหมาะกับการพัฒนาในธุรกิจการแพทย์ - เน้นการยกระดับ ‘ขุมทรัพย์ที่อยู่ในแผ่นดินไทย’ รวมกับเทคโนโลยีและความรู้ด้านการแพทย์ เพื่อนำไปพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ - ส่งเสริมงานวิจัยในห้อง สู่การทำงานเชิงพาณิชย์ (Commercialized) - ส่งเสริมการสื่อสารผลิตภัณฑ์ไทยให้ Modernized มากขึ้น เพื่อให้ลูกค้าทั่วโลกเข้าใจในผลิตภัณฑ์ไทย เช่น สมุนไพรไทย ที่เป็นต้นกำเนิดของสารออกฤทธิ์เพื่อสุขภาพ (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients: API) - ต้องมีการผลักดันการศึกษาทางคลินิกสำหรับนักวิทยาศาสตร์และนักวิจัยไทยรุ่นใหม่ - ส่งเสริมการสื่อสารกับชาวต่างชาติว่า ในประเทศไทยมี Start-up ที่ศึกษาเรื่อง Medical Deep Tech อย่างจริงจังและมีคุณภาพ เพื่อสร้างความเชื่อมั่นในตลาดโลก - คนในสังคมต้องเปลี่ยนความคิดที่ว่า ‘คนไทยทำไม่ได้หรอก’ แล้วสร้างพื้นที่หรือช่องทางที่ Support คนรุ่นใหม่ให้มีพื้นที่ฉายแสง Share Success อย่างเดียวไม่พอ ต้อง Share Risk ด้วย . #APThai #APThaiบริษัทอสังหาอันดับ1 #ชีวิตดีๆที่เลือกเองได้ #ที่ที่ดีที่สุดจากเอพี #TheStandardEconomicForum2024 #YoungLeadersDialouge
