If you stand in front of a mirror, are you existing in two places at the same time? If you claim not to be and you said your mirror self was only a reflection and had no realness then what if what you term as your fundamental realness is also a reflection of something else, of another you perhaps that is staring at a mirror somewhere else, or at a shard of broken glass. What if what your term to be your real life is nothing but a spectralization of an image in the mirror? What if the dichotomy between you and the mirror self was not a real space but merely a misperception? What if your original self was the mirror and what you know as reality was merely a reflective mass of space that captures the you that exists in a mirror? Are you really sure the mirror isn't just a myth? Are you sure it isn't a space where two separate realities can at the same moment take a glimpse of each other, making all mirrors themselves portals to another dimension. Are mirrors just mirrors or maybe even magic from a primeval world that has crept into this world, a grim knowledge that has survived amidst other various diluted phenomena. Is the mirror truly a physical object if part of its characteristics is to embody the structure and shape of whatever is in front of it? Sort of like a mimicry. A reminder that as the objects in the mirror are not real, the objects outside the mirror could also not be as real as we think. So it took a whole lot of luck at first to find out which mushrooms were edible and which ones would cause death, which ones would leave the face distended. Over the course of time, those who ate the good mushrooms must have met those who lost people who ate the bad mushrooms and an argument would ensue. 1.Mushrooms are good. 2. Mushrooms are bad. Each set of beliefs enshrined within their own experiences. They would bicker over whose truth is more superior. They would clown and make mockery. How can you fear a mushroom? How can you eat a mushroom? And it wouldn't be long before a normative science experiment would be established to find out who is right. A plate of mushrooms would be served and depending on if the eater dies, truth will be established. But that truth would solely be dependent on the mushroom itself and in any case, another normative science experiment could be carried out with an opposing results to the first established empirical evidence. The truth ex post would mean nothing. It would be truth and it wouldn't be a lie either. So many spectrums exist within ignorance. And one of it is knowledge. One of it is science. One of it is certainty. What mushrooms are we eating today?

You know how chicken tastes. You know how goat tastes. But do you know how you will taste? This is a pervasive thought I wrestle with from time to time. Going to a restaurant and cutting off my arm and demanding it be cooked. Truly then you can say the expression “he has gone to pot” and mean it. I wonder how I would look as a dish on a dining table, in a kitchen sink, in a stomach, in the pipes of a public toilet. With the cockroaches in a septic tank. Whenever I bite my tongue, I always wish I had mistakenly swallowed it also. I wish my teeth were cyanide pills.
