@t_meisuna @marvy_brain I believe you can do that on the official GRA site. There is a used vehicle duty calculator; ICUMS. When you enter your VIN/CHASIS number it will give you a duty estimate.

Once again.... The condition of your car has no effect on duty. You don't pay different duty when you bring in a salvage car or a clean title car. (Supposing the make,model and trim are the same)

@t_meisuna @marvy_brain The CIF is not calculated based on HOW MUCH YOU BOUGHT the car, but the presumed value of the car. e.g if you got a great deal on a car worth 20k dollars for 5k dollars, you will be charged duty on 20k dollars not 5k dollars. Thats how it works

@t_meisuna @marvy_brain @marvy_brain is right. The duties will be the same. The only advantage for you buying the salvage car is that your total cost is lower than the person who bought a clean car. But duty is same. So for those selling for a profit, a salvage car makes the most sense.
