I am spending time unsubscribing from email lists. How do I get the time to do this? Simple. Something more important demands my time and I don't want to do that

David Dein invited 9 of us correspondents into Highbury board-room to meet #Wenger in 96. Arsene spoke for 50 mins, and we were spellbound by his attacking philosophy, belief in nutrition (broccoli!) & obsession with #afc as a community club. A visionary had arrived. 1/10

@sanhelmet Here’s one I’ve become increasingly convinced of: Unless one deliberately identifies and corrects for biases in real-time, human judgment is poor most of the time.

“Avoid extremely intense ideology because it cabbages one’s mind” - Charlie Munger. This would likely refer to social, economic and, of course, political ideologies. Any counterexample of an intense ideology that one can believe in?

@sidin I’d recommend not watching a single second of ANY news TV. Frees up so much time to read and in the pursuit of more important things

@_AAbedi Hmm, I would if I’m correcting for era; the three you’ve listed is what I’d put down based on who I’ve seen and watched play. Inherently, that is a recency-biased ranking, no? For an all-time ranking, I’d think we will have to correct for records / outcome

There are two problems with @chrisrock: He only performs once in 10 years, and he only talks for 1 hour. Too little. Honest, insightful, and direct comedy can only be made refreshing by this legend of a man.

At the very least, please listen to @EconTalker to understand how to be an inquisitive listener while being extremely smart and articulate. His podcast makes one so much smarter, and he’s an amazing interviewer. Thank you!

@adityabalaraman Tax breaks are likely to be timebound, and are geared more towards the company: property tax breaks etc. In TX, income tax for individuals is 0. That would help companies take advantage of the tax wedge
