This video was a complete joy to make. Here's a short preview, but next time you're looking to sit down for 45 minutes of math and art, take a look at the full version on YouTube.

1. Proving theorems does matter, but it's just one aspect of math. It's arguably the most publicized one, but not the most important one. Here's an essential quote by Fields medallist Bill Thurston: "The product of mathematics is clarity and understanding. Not theorems, by themselves. Is there, for example any real reason that even such famous results as Fermat's Last Theorem, or the Poincaré conjecture, really matter? Their real importance is not in their specific statements, but their role in challenging our understanding, presenting challenges that led to mathematical developments that increased our understanding." @DennisTheArtist For me, it was key to getting podman to work. Additionally, x86_64 binaries need rosetta to run on apple silicon, so i also expect better performance from my brand new homebrew arm64 binaries.

Happening right now in our skies: Titan is casting a shadow directly onto Saturn, creating an eclipse in the cloud tops of the gas giant. Saturn's tilt relative to the sun means it only happens when the rings are seen edge-on like this... I've never seen it before!
