nobody tells you this when you start coding. the first 3 months feel impossible. month 4 things start clicking. month 6 you can't imagine not knowing this. you're not slow. you're just early. keep going 💪

something clicked for me recently. the developers who will win in 2026 are not the fastest coders. they're the best problem solvers who happen to use AI. tools change. thinking doesn't. learn to think first. everything else is secondary.

i asked Claude to help me debug yesterday. it didn't just fix the bug. it explained WHY it happened and how to avoid it next time. that's not a tool anymore. that's actually learning 😳

real talk. everyone's using AI to write code now. but nobody's teaching you how to think about the problem first. AI gives you the answer. it doesn't give you the understanding. that gap is where good developers are made. don't skip the thinking part 🧠

Anthropic made an AI called Mythos. then said "nah we can't release this." it found thousands of security bugs in real apps within hours. they locked it away themselves. a company being scared of their own product is wild to me 🤯
