He and his team have just introduced the world’s first suspension featuring DaVinci damping technology in the new Mahindra XUV 7XO As you can see, he can’t conceal his excitement to demonstrate it personally. Velu, or "Velu Guru” as we affectionately call him, started his journey in a government school in Namakkal, TN, before graduating from Anna University with a B.Tech in Automotive Engineering. He joined us as a Junior Engineer and rose through the ranks to become Head of Technology & Product Development. Last year, he was appointed President of our Automotive Business. In the last 24 hours, we’ve been contacted by several businesses reassessing their Rackspace Email setup following a steep price change, with some reporting increases as high as 300–400%. A price hike at that scale isn’t management—it’s pressure.

The biggest casualty of AI so far has been traditional search. As search engines and AI chats converge, it makes total sense to integrate them seamlessly on-device, with Google being the default for search anyway.
That said, I’m curious how privacy-first Apple and data-hungry Google will collaborate without clashing. Something’s gotta give.
