I attended both the Texas series at Arkansas last year & last nights game in College Station. I think it was louder in College Station last night, but both were comparable in hostility.

It wasn’t as hostile as the Arkansas series, but that isn’t saying the 12th man didn’t make their presence known or felt…it just means the Aggies (for the most part) didn’t cross a line Respect to the folks in College Station, that was worth every penny

I don’t understand the people who whine about the BCS and four team playoff being better than what we have now. More teams, more games, more drama. A two loss team won a title last year and was clearly the best team. Isn’t that the point of a playoff? To find the best team?

@SEC goin to 9 game schedule is so shortsighted. If the committee is going to place a 1 loss Big 12/B10 team over two 1 loss SEC teams then the value of the schedule isn’t there. Take the mandatory P4 game out of the conf. reqs and let them prop up their game control metrics.

A newsy wrinkle from Bevacqua: As part of an MOU signed last spring, Notre Dame is assured of a CFP berth if it is ranked in the top 12 starting next year. If this year’s situation unfolds next year, the final at-large team (Miami) would have gotten bumped for No. 11 Notre Dame.
