Chelsea beat Napoli 4-1 to overturn a 3-1 deficit in the round of 16 with an excellent performance at home. They then comfortably dispatched Benfica home and away. They then came up against one of the best Barcelona teams ever. They went after Barcelona, scored an early goal then sat back and defended for their lives (rode their luck) and grabbed a 2-2 draw away at the Camp Nou after being down to 10 men for 58 mins. The final, they got lucky but destiny arrived all the same. Chelsea had performances to look back on and be proud of. Against high calibre opposition. This is not remotely the same thing. You are a superior team to all of the teams you’ve played in the knockout stages but aren’t performing like you are.

Heaven and Yoro is calm esp for Chelsea's attack, it's Ugarte I'm more worried about. If he starts, we have very little chance of winning. Hopefully Kobbie is back, and if not, I'd rather Bruno play deeper and we start Amad/Mount/Zirkzee/Cunha whoever at #10.
More on Marco Rose and Bournemouth. Talks are advanced between the former Leipzig and Dortmund boss and Bournemouth. Parties close to an agreement on terms.
