Just finished reading @lester_laminack “The Ultimate Read-Aloud Resource”.....WOW. What a great book to read prior to September; highly recommend!! An incredible reminder that each book we read has the opportunity to become a part of a students’ life. ✨

@ms_cuiffo Yes!! I am team clear the stream and team emojis!! I’m also careful about using due dates before teaching them that the due date box in the stream isn’t the only place to look/all that is there for them.

Google Classroom: I was hesitant to change the way I organize things, but now that I use the Classwork section more than Stream, I have enjoyed using emojis to label daily assignments in Summer Academy. You can reorder the way they appear too.

We were on a tight budget so they weren’t nearly as nice as these but we did our best. Such a simple gesture to help motivate and encourage reflection.

I love having students do their work in SLIDES instead of Docs. What is the difference really? If they can do it in a Google Doc they can do it in #googleSlides but it's easier to give feedback in Slides and you can have YOUR OWN FEEDBACK SLIDE! I love that. #googleEDU
