why is it that seemingly every ftmtf detransitioner got T at like 13 and top surgery at 14/15 while i figured out im trans at 11, came out at 13 and still only managed to go on T at 18 and top surgery still seems like a distant dream. life is a cruel joke

@reallynormaIguy sorry, I meant that a lot of people who successfully transitioned in a pediatric setting have our voices drowned out by radicalized detransitioners. N they were partly responsible for making pediatric transition more difficult/impossible to access.

@Shortcakeberrys @reallynormaIguy Thats not how its read at all, they said they transitioned at 18 while saying detransitioner got t and surgery at 13 and at the end said life is a cruel joke, implying that even that they wouldve liked to transition around then aswell.

@reallynormaIguy my gender clinic got bomb threatened for treating minors, so many of us just don’t talk about it. I got a revision recently, so I got it at the children’s hospital, and some of my team members were tearing up because they hadn’t been able to provide trans care there in so long.

@MULANPILLED when i first started T it was diy and i was on it for year before i finally found a doctor who didnt just waste my time after a total wait of 5 years so if its your only option its worth it. hopefully things will get better in sweden or youll be able to move somewhere else 🙏
