膝に近い部分の皮膚はよく滑るし変形もしやすいから、トラッカーが前後に傾きやすくなるんだ。
よくある症状としては、
座った時に足の高さが揃わなかったり、スクワットで太ももの角度が横方向に90度しか出ていないように見えたりする。
だからトラッカーは太ももの真ん中あたりに装着するのがおすすめで、
その後、必要に応じて前方か外側に置くかを選べばいいよ。
右の画像は、トラッカーを膝の近くに付けた時に起こりがちな現象で、
太ももの骨の角度に近づけることができなくなっているんだ。

これは全然関係ない話題ですけどRebocapの足踏み歩行機能使うと膝が全く曲がらなくなる（足が固定される）のは仕様なんですかね…？それとも設定不足…？

Rebocapはプレビュー版05から正式版V01の間で、SteamVRトラッカーの属性ファイルを変更したんだ（データはdriver_rebocap.dllに入っている）。
これは、新規プレイヤーが初回起動時に「ボタン設定」の表示を出させないためと、トラッカーの優先度が高すぎる問題を下げるためだったんだ。
あとで気づいたんだけど、正式版V01でトラッカーを腰や足に割り当てても、Clusterはそれらを自動認識してくれなかったんだ。

The belly button is the center between the chest and hips.
Ideally, waist tracker should capture the full hip swing — but placing it right at the navel weakens the reading (like the hinge in the middle of a subway car).
Even looking at the 3D avatar, can see that the closer the tracker is to the belly button, the weaker the swing becomes.

Rebocap trackers only provide 3‑DoF data (XYZ rotation).
In PC mode, the system relies on a physics collision system to walk on the virtual floor — but if you’re sitting on a chair with your feet lifted, the avatar will fall through the ground.
When using a VR headset, the skeleton system moves with the headset coordinates (like a marionette), which also gives you height information.

@RakiKazuki In your diagram, the hand and foot tracker placements are indeed wrong.
Trackers are meant to capture the rotation of each bone.

From my experience:
Position 1
gives clear movement, but it’s easily affected by arm swinging — lifting your arm can cause front‑back tilting.
In VRChat, the foot trackers may show the most front‑back wobbling）
Position 2
has weaker sideways twisting, and may be affected by upward pressure from the stomach area.
(For example, the chest‑waist angle should look like an "∟", but in the software it ends up looking like a " ＼ ".)
For both positions, placing the tracker on your back can reduce the interference — but if you lie flat on your back, it will get pressed.
For new players and general use, this diagram is enough. From there, you can explore what works best for you.

VRコントローラーのボタンには磁石が入っていて、通常15cmくらいまで影響があるんだ。
Quest Proのコントローラーだと、磁気充電ポートのせいで干渉範囲が30cmくらいになる。
トラッカーにとっては、まるで磁石をコンパスの近くに置いたみたいに、完全に引き寄せられちゃう感じ。
【抗磁モード】をオンにすると、磁場の変化への反応を少し抑えられるよ。もっと強い適応型フィルターが必要なら、beta02バージョンを使ってみて。

右コントローラーから受ける磁場の影響がデカすぎて、体の前側に付けると右足がとんでもない勢いでズレるんすよね
なんとかならないかな、手を常に浮かせてトラッカーと近づけないようにするしかない？

[脚ノード結合]を使うときは、左右の足をオンにしておく必要がある。 実際には骨ルールから関節ルールに切り替わる仕組みで、上腿のトラッカーは膝関節に移動し、下腿のトラッカーは強制的に非表示、足のトラッカーは足首関節に移動する。 VRChatのIK構造は関節ルールを使っているから、 スイッチの言葉を少し調整すれば、もっと分かりやすくなるかもと思っている。

@rebocap @meirameivt I'm currently using iFacialMocap from ios and Rebocap for the body tracking, does that mean if I add another motion tracking for the hands from another webcam, everything will be tracked? (With webcam range limits)

@PawwaPDC @meirameivt Usually, finger data is combined either inside Warudo blueprint system or through the VMC protocol ,
using either tracking gloves or USB camera for hand tracking.
