so....today's flight really started in 1994. they didn't establish a permanent, self-supporting base on the moon..by 2002. they're now gonna just go take a joyride, for government funsies, funded by your tax dollrs, to just whip around it.

right now I don't care if it's a boondoggle, unreusable, not SpaceX, etc. This is good morale! Which we are in dire need of. Good to remember that there are still Americans who want to do this and spend years in enduring tremendous challenging conditions to pull it off.
