@SPOOPYBred @OatmealDome I'm inclined to believe it would be caused by the Demo completion locking away mechanics like the Miis roaming the island, level up and earning money. It's likely by accident locked something crucial for nighttime to function, resulting in a crash

Nintendo has confirmed a bug that causes the demo to crash if you launch the app or wake the console from sleep between 9 pm and 10 am, after reaching the end.
This bug does not affect your ability to transfer your save data to the full game.
