There’s something so special about bringing your ideas to life, truly think about how blessed you are to see something so vividly in your mind and then have the courage to go out in the world and create it

Not every new thing you try is going to fail, but every endeavour has an absolute chance of failing absolutely. The real question is whether these possibilities will discourage you, and that should determine whether you should proceed.

Never understood why people are afraid of admitting they don’t know something. It could be because they place so much importance on how they’re perceived by others. But the irony is that by claiming you know something when you really don’t, you signal willful ignorance.

It’s the times where I’ve been so in the moment, that the best things come out of it but I’m not even aware of what I experienced until after the fact. This goes to show that what you need, will find you regardless of how badly you want things to go your way. Life surprises you

A scary reality that we all face at one point or another is the struggle of not doing purposeful work. It affects your psyche more than you think. Seeking purpose in an area that occupies so much of your time and energy is important for your psychological state in the long run

@zachpogrob Maybe if you didn’t go to college, you wouldn’t have had the struggles that shaped the way you thought back then which inevitably led you to where you are now. It’s so true that we really don’t need permission but our young minds were under the impression that we did back then

College was the biggest mistake of my life 5 years undergrad/pre-med I wish I had myself now to take myself past under wing and be like-- no you can do all this other stuff you're better at, you don't need a degree, you don't need permission But oh well

A hill I will die on, now more than ever: Traditional college education is dead. Go for networking if you’d like and to “find yourself” But if you’re going to learn, you’re wasting every dime you spend.

It’s a gift that the world is a mirror and an even bigger gift when you realize everything that it’s reflecting is yourself. A reflection offers the opportunity to know yourself, to look at yourself, to see what your deeper subconscious thoughts are. And the ability to change it.

Embodying courage takes a certain level of discipline and commitment to yourself that most people can’t comprehend unless they’re also courageous in their lives.

The only remedy to get back to yourself is to intentionally put in the effort to figure out exactly who you are, what you like and what you want out life. Most times, it requires you to tune out social media for a while and other possible distractions to get an authentic answer

When you project fears of imaginary futures or of interpretations carried from the past onto the now, you highly limit what you can create in this moment. You intercept your receptivity to receive the new instructions to cultivating your new life.

those moments where you realize you been on autopilot for years it is immediately obvious that the solution is greater awareness but you were asleep before, a small part of you is terrified that you’ll inevitably fall back asleep again, bc you don’t know how to stay awake

Sometimes, all it takes is a line from a movie or a talk with a friend to snap you right into an alert state. The challenge is staying in that state when the convenience of falling asleep is easier. Awareness alone isn’t enough, intentional effort to stay awake is a requirement

Society always pushes this idea that we have to conform or compromise who we are to be loved. Not only do we have permission to be who we are, it’s actually our purpose.

It’s funny that we think we understand everything now at the age that we currently are but we have no idea how much more we will understand years from now and laugh when we think how much we thought we understood years ago, we never stop learning and figuring things out

Some people are far too humble about their gifts to the point where they downplay having gifts at all and that is to their detriment.
