Married pastor David A. Ritchie from Redeemer Christian Church in Amarillo, Texas, was arrested in an undercover prostitution sting and immediately fired by his church.
The 42-year-old lead pastor was one of eight men charged with solicitation of prostitution after the Texas Department of Public Safety operation. His church stated they were “shocked and heartbroken” and terminated his employment after confirming the arrest.
This is a painful fall from grace for a man who was supposed to lead by example.
