The premier's salary is $500,000+. She bought an apartment in the city for $319,000 in 2005. Macedon MP Mary-Anne Thomas, who as health minister got approx. $400,000 pa, owns properties in Carlton North and Northcote. These people don't need further handouts for 'upkeep'!
