Disability Studies is more important now than ever.
As an alumni of the MA Disability Studies course who benefited significantly from studying on it, I assure you that it is a course worth keeping - not least because of its impact within the wider disabled academic community.

The automatic door at the Liverpool Allerton Road Halifax branch has been broken for ages, creating a barrier for disabled customers. Can you let me know when this will be fixed @HalifaxBank ?

This Friday 15/11, our Autism through an Autistic Lens exhibit opens at the @Tolbooth gallery in Stirling, showcasing artwork and photography by autistic adults who participated in my research. The exhibit will be on until the 31st of December and the venue is fully accessible.

For anyone who was hesitant about the cerulean Twitter alternative because figuring out how to use a new platform felt overwhelming: good news! I have done so and using it is EXACTLY the same as using Twitter.
