It’s feeling more and more like my decision to not marry or have children was the right one. I commend people who get married, have children and remain in a committed marriage, but it’s just so rare nowadays. I hate the idea of kids having to grow up as I did, in a broken family, surrounded by broken families and “starter marriages”. I’m not sure what the remainder of my life will be like but I never have to worry about my kids and their future in what looks like a very dystopian future.
