@joshriku exactly. and i wish ppl appreciated this section of the game more bc its such an interesting way to explore grief and death, not for its possible lore, but simply for its philosophy

@rikuseph this one fucked me up so bad when i played it.. i think its really a type of love and moreover grief & finality we dont explore much in kingdom hearts so seeing it pop up felt like a gut punch

there's a lot of iconic quotes in kingdom hearts i love but i always think about this gut-wrenching quote from one of the stars you meet in the final world, a mother who died from giving birth. we hear "dearly beloved" all the time but "my dear, beloved burden" is so haunting

people always use kh3 for theories but i like taking the quotes from those stars the way it was simply presented, nothing deep or lore-driven.. just something to quietly mourn over if that makes sense

up to this point i haven't really experienced death in kingdom hearts presented this way, so coming across this star in a place where sora has to physically put himself back together was a lot to process
