Reading two pointers in news analysis /narrative for last two days. First: Modi has doomed India's independent diplomacy by licking ass of Trump. India is isolated now and without friends (read Iran). Second: Pakistan has pulled off a diplomatic miracle of the century as a neutral peace builder. This is how mature nationsband leadership behaves. New Delhi needs to learn from Islamabad. Pakistan and Peace in same one sentence, and boy, the joy and the glee, and the sparkle in the eyes of some retired Indian diplomats and Editors in declaring this as the ultimate victory of Pakistan over India, one has to see it to believe it. Sometimes you wonder if these are actually the people who were movers and shakers in policy making and narrative setting circles of India. Just in case, if this part would have been played by Modi, then their narrative would have been: this was not our war, Modi has doomed India's diplomacy by licking ass of Trump and tweeting the draft sent by White House. Second: Pakistan has pulled off a diplomatic miracle of the century by remaining neutral and safeguarding it's independent voice. This is how mature nationsband leadership behaves.
